More Miracles

Dear Family,

Como Estan? I think i mentioned this last week, but my six month mark is tomorrow. Dang and has the time gone by Fast! This transfer feels like it just started, and im a little afraid i might be leaving this area. This transfer is probably going to be a big one. And i might be momming (greenies 2nd companion) or dadding (trainer). But im going to be really sad if i leave this area, Elder Lawson has a feeling he is staying. i Guess we will find out on sunday night. :{ Then next pday will be on tuesday for sure. and mail will get alittle slowed up.

Well in news of investigators the Valencias are in Mesa right now with their family. We are hoping and praying that the family will realize that Maria Cruz is ready, and should be baptized as soon as possible. The Robledos are going good, alittle hard to get them to remember to go to church, but we have been able to teach them, we even take Felicitas over there to teach, which just helps both of them out.

Felicitas is Amazing, ive been joking around with her more, she likes to joke around alot, and she's really funny. Then she has been starting to share the Book of Mormon with her family, and friends. I know that in a few months, or years, that they will all accept the gospel. Felicitas has never doubted the testimony she has recieved.

As for Spanish, being that every door we knock is somebody who speaks Spanish, i am learning really quickly. I dont remember if i told this story before, but we were teaching this older couple, who go to another church, and the husband was listening, but the wife was just looking around and stuff. But then she got on her cell phone and called up somebody, i think it was her pastor or something. And she told him that there were 2 missionaries sitting right in front of her. he wanted to know what church we were from and stuff, so she just handed me the phone. And I talked with him. It was pretty fun, but then it was going alittle long, so i just shared alittle bit about the restoration with him, and invited him to church and he said he would. But they never came, although it was a pretty funny experience, and it was all in Spanish!

Also in a lesson with Arturo (who is really hard to understand) i was answering all of his question and understaning him pretty well. A few days before, they were saying our spanish wasnt so great, and so i just wanted to please him...and it worked :) We can converse pretty well with everyone. Its even hard to pray in English now. In reading the Book of Mormon. I am almost half way through Alma. Im reading it out loud, and ever day i get to do that, my Spanish is much better.

Another cool experience. President wanted every area to go through their area book, and prayfully choose one Former investigator who could be baptized in the next little while. So we went through over 200 former investigators. and chose about 50, then prayed and chose about 8. then prayed again, and went through those, and found The one that we would try. And actully me and Elder Hernandez did this, and picked about 10 to try. And one was this same person, i just didnt recognize the name. (But when we went over there the first time, they had a dog that chased us away.) So we tried it again and the dog was still there, but it was actually really nice, just looked mean. And we knocked the door and met a kid named Rafa, who remembered alot of things about the missionaries. They taught them in mexico about 5 years ago, and his older brother was baptized there. So now we are working with them and trying to talk to the mom. im pretty sure it will turn out well. We were expecting a miracle, and it happend. They were home, and their dog didnt eat us! This has been a fun week. We have been working really hard, and been having fun at it too. Im glad to be in this area, im going to be sad to leave, but i know where ever i will go i will be in the right place.

Gracias por su amor!

Con amor, Elder Loveless
