Hello my family
This week was great. We have started teaching another family. the mom is a lady named Mari, and her husband miguel. then there daughter dolores, and her husband Cesar. They are really cool. The other elders from saguaro told us that they were moving into our area from Three points, which is like an hour away. And that they needed help moving in, that was like 3 weeks ago. Well we have been going by a bit since then. But reciently they have show that they have a ton of potential to get baptised. The daughter investigated the church in mexico, a few years ago, but never got baptised, so now she is married here, and has 2 kids, and still remembers alot., She is a big help in lessons. Mari was asking if we could talk to our familys, or if i got to call you on my birhtday, We told her no, but we get to twice a year. Then she said...well i guess if you cant see your family, then we will have to be your family out here, and we will let you come over whenever you want! They love haveing us over there, and they are so nice to us. Its going to be great teaching them.
Fernando and his family are still doing great, we are just waiting for the divoce stuff to clear through, which hopefully will happen today. I told them that they should fast for everything to go well. I really hope i stay here this transfer to see them baptised, it could happen this week end, but for sure it will happen next transfter. They are so AWESOME! I love teaching them. We have dinner over there 2 or 3 times a week. SO this week we ate some grilled chicken, and tortas... REALLY GOOD TORTAS!! The food at their house is the best.
I think we are eating over ther this week several times. I dont know what they have planned for us, But its going to be good no matter what. Im so happy i can have all of these experiences to teach these great people. its made my mission great!
well we are covering 2 areas now, it makes for alot of traveling. and we bike a lot to, its really hot outside, but when you get moving it cools you off. Then right when i walk in to a house, im drenched in sweat. I am drinkning a ton of water. So dont worry about me dehidrating.
Questions from Mom and Dad:
Q: When are the next transfers?
A: this coming sunday
Q: Will Fernando and Angelita be baptized before then?
A: i really really hope so
Q: Is there a possibility of you being transferred to a "final" area?
A: i dont know. i could. ive never stayed in an area for 4 transfers, and im at 2 right now. With 2 left. So we will find out.
Q: Or do you think you'll stay in this area the rest of the time?
A: i hope i do. but we will see.
We asked some similar questions that Elder Loveless' cousin, Elder Perry (who is in Colombia) was asked by his parents. Elder Loveless answered:
Yes we have a toilet seat. yes, our shower works but i had to fix the valve for it, and we turn it on with a wrench. yes our stove works really well.
Back to Elder Loveless:
Well thats about it for the week. i did find some nice sunglasses at good will, and looked them up and they are worth $75 and i got them for 10 cents its pretty sweet! HOpe you all have a great summer. I cant belive its already june! this year is flying by. Im glad that the end of my mission is going so well, we are working pretty hard. and its paying off! at the beggining of my mission i always had in my imagination ending my mission in this area. and i think i might. We will see what happens with transfers. i really hope i dont go, but we will see, and what ever happens will be what God wants.
