Dear Family,
Please send me the names of our ancestors who lived in Nauvoo...We stop at Land and Records in the band wagon, and we have some time there, and so i look up people...except the only one i know is John Loveless, and there is alot of information on him. I would visit his land, but its like 20 miles out of Navuoo, past Keokuk, so we cant go there.
Well about the same stuff has gone on this week. Except we had this bible school thing, it was a multi-denominational Bible school for children from 3-12. And the brass band was lucky enought to be the ones who put on a super Cheesie Skit for them all at the begining of each day. And I was "Lucky" enough to get a part, i was the professor in the skit. I didnt like it very much, but i did it. So i am very glad that is over. There will be pictures from that on our end-of-the-mission CD or whatever we will get.
We've just been doing performance this week. But yesterday we got a really big rain storm, and it caught us right when we were on the band wagon, so we had to hurry back from where ever we were, the thunder scared the horses once.
When it rains we just give concerts inside at the Visitors center, and the Cultural Hall, an not a lot of people show up.
The Young Ambassadors have been here this week, they give concerts after Sunset on the Mississippi, and at different towns around here. They did one in Carthage, and Elder Hughes talked about it today in church. He said that the public really loved it. We will get to hear them sometime this week. We are aloud to go to one of their concerts.
Last week i told you i got to work in the Gunshop giving tours. Well i did, and it was pretty fun, I gave tours to a group of 13. It was fun to see how many non-members come in to see the guns. We were giving tours most of the time. We were at that site which was 3 and a half hours, but it went by really quick, we just give them facts about the building, and then we give a little gospel message at the end, the gunsmith tours took about 20 mins each because there are so many rooms. Today i will be working in the Tin-smith place.
Its a much shorter tour, but we just found out we were assigned so i didnt get that much time to look at the information. it should be fine though. And it might rain, which means less people will be coming though, but you never know.
Well your life at home seems really exciting, and taking Anthony to the MTC sounds really fun. Thats funny that he wanted to go to In-n-Out Burger before he went in. (A picture of Billy's college room mate, Elder Oliver, right before he entered the MTC, going to Hong Kong.)
He Wrote me a few weeks ago, right before he went to the MTC. I like the letter from Domino, (our cat) it was really funny
Actually the picture i sent a few weeks ago was a closeish up shot of the temple from the side....well that was taken right outside of my car in front of our house....So thats our view each morning.
How are the plans for getting to nauvoo going? I hope they all work out fine, its a really awesome place and you have to come...Not just because im here, but because its great here.

Well I love it here, i can see no better way to spend my summer, I love the storms, i love the temple, the river, the people. Every thing here is Great!! Ive been trying to study alot, and a bit of spanish. But its great to have some time to study, and have no distractions. Its so FUN!!
Well, Cojalos Suave (take it easy) i dont know how to spell Cojalos, it might be 2 words.
I still might try to get a written letter to mom and dad. Well i must depart into the storm outside. Have a great week!
