Next Week You Come!

DEAR Family,

Well im excited for you to come next week, very excited. This week hasnt been too eventful. Just the same thing each day. Sunday and Monday rained a lot, huge storms. all the YPMs did a Fireside, but we just had the band play in it, and some people give talks.

Elder Kimball's family has been here this week. So we have been going places with them, we are going to Carthage today. So i have to make this quick, and i dont have any pictures. But you will be here next week.

Nauvoo is going great, it goes good everyday. My testimony grows every day, i love being here. Sometimes its hard to focus on studying or reading, because everything in Nauvoo changes by the hour. But besides that its great. I love being here, and there is no other place i would rather be. Im so glad i could have the opportunity to come here. The prophets lived here, and the saints lived here, its the most Beautiful place on earth!

I'm SO EXCITED to be receiving my endowment in the Nauvoo Temple next week, when you come. I like the idea that when the saints left Nauvoo they wanted to go to the temple, even when Brigham Young was closing the temple, they still wanted to go in. And that is one of the main things they needed when they left and also what helped them on their way to Salt Lake.

I'll see if i can work it out for you guys to eat at the Hardys some time when you are here. It's 4 dollars a meal. Cheapest, yet best meal you will ever buy! This past week we have had things like chicken, hamburgers, and mashed potatoes.

As far as the pageant goes, they never cancel it. Even if it rains they don't cancel it, except everybody is swimming, because they are so wet.

When you get here next Tuesday, you will be able to find us. Our first "concert" is at the park by the Scovil Bakery, by the cultural hall, on main street. So you can come to that, but you will probably see us around for sure.

Sorry this is so short. Gracias for the letters.

Love,

ELDER LOVELESS

This sword was given to James Allred, Elder Loveless's 6th great grandfather, by the Prophet Joseph Smith at the Carthage Jail. It is now on display in the recorder's office of the Nauvoo Temple
