Miracles Keep Falling Into Our Laps

Dear Family,

Well this is coming a day later, becase of martin luther king day. but we still had Pday yesterday, which went very well, we decided to go mountain biking in madera canyon. So we got up there, and took off, the whole first part was slighlty down hill, and so we could do it really fast. but then it got really rocky, and we went about 4 miles in. we decided to turn around but realized that it was alot more uphill then we thought. and we were already pretty tired, and scratched up. So we had to go back 4 miles, which was very hard...plus we all ran out of water, and were out of energy for the way back. And arizona is a desert, and it was about 80ish degrees. But we all made it alright, and one elder had 2 jugs of water in the car. It was a fun Pday activity. And now my legs sting, because every plant in Arizona has spikes on it.

This week was great. Starting off finding blanca on tuesday. This was in that"city" I found. It took us a while to find out how to get there. We did and began finding some really good investigators who were willing to accept commitments. One day we were looking for a referral from an investigator in that neighborhood. A lady named Blanca looked out of her house to see why her dogs were barking. She saw us elders and saw the Book of Mormon. She had attended a Spanish Branch in Idaho the week before. She felt good all day and determined that when she got back to Arizona that she'd look for the same Church. She invited us in and she accepted baptism before we could ask the question.
And then we had a great church meeting yesterday. Felicitas and alicia both showed up. And really enjoyed it. Blanca didnt, and we have had a hard time finding her. But also another guy came to church. He was in gospel principles class and elder Rusk was talking to him. And This guy was meeting with the missionaries, and was in another area, but moved into our area, and wanted to come to church. So I got his information, and we are goign to try and see him tomorrow. Im really excited about that, because he has already gone to church twice, we just need to re-teach him, and he is ready to be baptised. So miracles keep falling into our laps. We have been praying latly for miracles, and they sure are coming. Felicitas is a miracle. She is so smart, and all during gospel Principles, which was on the spirit world. she had a lot of questions, but was also almost teaching parts of it. I still cant belive that we found her, and that she is so ready! We didnt teach her, the spirit did. Also Alicia is progressing too, now she understands who we are, and what our church is. She also brought her Neice and Nephew to church, they live in mexico, but were visiting for the week end, and the missionaries are going to go teach them in Mexico (probably elder Specer, hes in the same mission.)


Thank you all for your prayers, and suport. Every single one helps us out here, even knowing that we have family that is suporting me is a great help for me. This work is hard, somedays more then others. i am trying to make every day as bast as i can, and doing the work that needs to be done. Just as with felisitas, we are only the messengers, and we must pray and be worthy enough for the spirit to speak through us. And also we bring our own personality to our areas, we arnt assigned by random. Some people conect with different people, and other with others. well thats all i have to write for today. have a great week!
