My Favorite Scripture In Teaching
Fam
My favorite scripture to use in a teaching situation is Moroni 8:25-26. Its a very simple scripture that shows how we are saved, and what it takes:
"And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins;
"And the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God."
so this week was good...just like last week. not much happened :( we did work pretty hard, but everything didnt bring anything, and it the time went by really fast.
We had pizza 3 times in a row, and chicken 2 times in a row. So not much for diversity. But its yummy. Yesterday we had a really big storm come through...it came while we were at dinner, and the families trampoline almost flew away. The dad hurried and changed, and then ran outside and staked it down. The wind was coming in really fast, and the wind was blowing so hard, that it came in horizontal. About a half hour after, we were driving to visit somebody, and i was looking in the rear view mirror, and i saw a lightning bold hit one of the telephone poles. It was really loud and bright, but it was the first lightning bolt ive seen hit something. it was awesome.
I cant belive i only have 2 months left, its going by so fast. its been very fun. Ive been reflecting on my whole mission lately. Its been great. ive learnd so much, and i have changed alot. Ive worked really hard on my mission. Ive met alot of people, and helped alot of people change. i cant belive its almost over.
We had interviews with the Mission President, President Killpack, the other day, and it was nice to recive a bit more strength to sprint to the finish. Im so excited for this time. Elder Hacker has been out for 18 months, so we are going to work alot harder in doing this work, because we are both in the last part of our missions. Its been such a great time. I love this work, and i love how i feel doing what we do. I will miss it alot.
I learned a cool tounge twister in Spanish yesterday it goes like this :
Cuando cuentas cuentos cuenta cuantos cuentos cuentas porque cuando cuentas cuantos nunca cuentas cuantos cuentos cuentas.
or also the name of a volcano in mexico, called:
PARANGARICUTIRIMICUARO
Thanks for all you do to help me, and thanks for the support, and the prayers.
Love Elder Loveless.
