Last "Real" E-Mail

Dear family! So this is my last "real" email. next week i am not sure if i will be emailing or not. If i do... that will be my last. but probably wont be very long since i will just see you the next day. SO one more week! I cant believe it. Its gone by so fast. Yesterday we went to the temple, it was very nice. It was a good thing to do my last week, right before i go home. It really helped me know what i want to do after my mission, and to feel that everything will be fine. On the way back we stopped off at Sunsites, Arizona (my area last year) and I said good bye to Marcia.

the work has been hard latly, ive been trying to work hard...but there isnt a lot going on right now. So i wish it was a better ending to my mission but...it has been good regardless. ive met alot of new people, and made alot of new friends. I will really miss my mission...its been so great...ive changed alot! its been so good. I look back over the last 2 years...and i cant belive it was only 2 years, it has felt like 10 years. and i loook back and i was a different person back then. Its been fun all of the time, but also hard, there were alot of challenges, and hard times, but Its all helped me be better. Ive loved my mission... and im sad its over. its bittersweet. Because i am super excited to See all of you! i cant wait.!!! One thing cool that happened this week, was that a member in our ward, keiji, got his mission call, and he is going to go to Paris France, a few days before he opened it, he said he felt like he would go to france. its pretty cool to see that happen, hes a convert of the church, and now is going to go on a mission in december. One more week. We will just be saying goodbye to everybody, im pretty much packed, that will take like an hour. There are a ton of awesome families here in Douglas, Arizona and i will miss them all. they have made my time awsome here. Well this is my last email...i hope everythign goes well this last week with all your traveles to utah, and that you make this next week awesome!!! Love Elder Loveless. Side Notes from the parents: Just One Week To Go Elder Loveless had P-day on Monday, but on account of Labor Day, he couldn't e-mail. Then on Tuesday, he went to the Gila Valley Temple. Because they got back late from that, he wasn't able to e-mail. We got the above e-mail late Wednesday afternoon. He's working hard, yet very excited to be coming home. He has sent home some hand written letters in the last week. In one he writes: Mom’s letters go something like this, “Hi son, President Uchtdorf says that you’re always in thhe middle of your mission. But we can’t wait until you get home in 2 weeks. We have so much planned and it’s going to be so fun.” So I try not to be trunky, but it doesn’t work so well, especially with dad who e-mails me last week... “I have the number 16 on my white board at work. What do you think that stands for?” As far as family plans, all his sisters are either in town or coming into town to meet him at the airport. So are all his nieces and nephews, of which 5 of the 7 have been born since he's been gone. One grandmother lives in Salt Lake and the other is coming in from Ohio to see him as he comes home. Other family members who have been such a support are anxiously awaiting his return, as well. For his immediate plans, Elder Loveless has not touched a French Horn for slightly over two years now. He wants to practice a lot so he'll be ready to start back at BYU in January. He hopes to return to the same level he was playing at when he finished his 3 and a half month stint with the Nauvoo Brass Band as a full-time young performing missionary in August of 2010, 3 weeks before he began this mission to Tucson, Arizona. Here on the home front, we are very excited to have him return. Several months ago on this blog we mentioned how the father of Elder Loveless has a bottle of one-a-day vitamins (Called Dr. Bill's Pills) with directions to take one pill each day and when they are all gone they will get another Bill in their house. At one time, the bottle was filled with pills. It seemed bottomless! Today, Dad took the seventh-to-the-last pill.

He's almost home!
