We have His help with us all the time

Dear family,

This week has been crazy. alot of our inversigators didnt show up to church so they lost their baptism dates. So we are working pretty hard or have been trying to. Elder Hernandez has been on his mission for almost a year.

Thursday maybe, our car got stuck in some sand, and we had to have Hermano Urias pull us out, but that was at the end of the day so we only had about 30 minutes left of the day. Then Friday, we had a flat tire when we woke up, so i changed that, and we went to Tucson to get the old one fixed. Then yesterday before church, our truck started to act really weird, and was smoking alot, but it would still drive, but it was shaking alot. So we left it at the church over night. Then today we went back to it, and drove it to the dealer, it was scary because we weren't sure what would happen with the smoke, it all smelled like gasoline. When ever we were going faster then 25 Mph it would stop shaking and smoking. Right when we pulled into the dealer it stopped having problems. So the guy checked it and it misfired or something, and was only running on 3 cylinders not 4, so that was bad. We left it there and the APs brought us a new car. So that is why i didn't email earlier this morning, we didn't even get to our laundry yet.

As for thanksgiving we had a good day with little work because everybody was eating dinner, and all our investigators weren't home. So we ended early and went to Elder Rusk's and Olsen's house, and cut our hair. It's the shortest ive ever had it. but it looks good and it was free :). We had Thanksgiving at a member's house. Pork sandwiches which were very good!

We had our first exchanges this week, i was with Elder Olsen, and we started pretty late, and just went too knock doors. We met some really nice people all in 2 circle streets. To bad they were for the other elders. In our area we dont have too many neighborhoods, just stuff out in the middle of no where.

Well this week was really hard, we didnt find very many new investigators, and we were stopped by alot of car problems. my spanish is getting alittle better. I bore my testimony in church on Sunday. we had 2 of our investigators come! We need so much help this week. We need help from the branch, from the investigators and especially from the Lord. Some days were really hard, and the greatest help was to know that we are not working alone. We have His help with us all the time, we just need to be ready, and humble to receive His direction. Im excited for this week and all the work we can get done. and now that we have a new car we should be able to work pretty well.
