The Work Is Going Very Well

(We've gotten the first pictures taken by Elder Loveless in Arizona.)

Dear Family,

Well this week went by very quick. we have been very busy. We drive around alot, i get to start driving next week. We have a few new investigators. One big problem is getting them to church. The Branch is so far away, that its very far to drive. And we have to get the parents to want to go. yesterday one of our families came to chruch. At frist we thought none of them were coming, but they called us after sacrement meeting, and said they were coming. They are a very fun family, the 2 kids are a little cute, so we are trying to help them have a fun time. I had a dream that they came to mutual. haha

We go to the Sahuaro Branch. The members are good ive met alot of them, and they are fun, they always make fun of my name. We have P-day on Monday. Lunes. Our area is Huge! we go into Sahuarita, and alittle on the very southern edge of Tucson. So we drive alot.

The work is going very well, we have a lot of teaching appointments, and usually they are always home. So we teach alot, im pretty slow with the spanish, but its getting much better, and i can understand them alot more, unless they are using words i dont know. But i like to study spanish, elder Hernandez helps me out pretty well with it. he is still learning english, but he speaks very well, he is from Mexico City. he makes a quesodilla pretty much the same as we do, he just uses one tortilla though and folds it over.

All the Old people drive golfcarts around the town, and the town has signs that say bike, and golfcart lane. We also saw this other golfcart with a car seat and a baby in it. That was funny.

Im having a great time, last week we went with the other companionship in our district to go to Ross to look for ties, but instead i bought a Jacket, because i lost mine at the MTC, but it really doesnt get too cold, maybe alittle outside, but it warms up pretty fast. It stays in the 70s. Has it snowed at home yet?

Something cool is an elder in our district (there are only us 2 companionships in our district) he was in my BYU ward with me, he already knew spanish and so was only at the MTC for 3 weeks, and we both left on nov 8th. so thats fun, and that companionship does a lot of funny things. They are working in the same branch as us, they are closer to Tucson than us. But we always go to dinner appointments together.

Ill try to get more pictures for you this week. we just dont have a ton of time to take pictures. Im working hard, learning lots, and most important helping people come to Christ, that is central to what we do, and that is through baptism. I love this work!

have a great week,

Elder loveless
