Well this week was pretty good, but a little slow. Our ward is the Madera ward, and we cover everything south of Ranch Sahuarita, which means, we cover Green Valley, which means, its a huge retirement area, so when we walk into a neighbor hood the average age of that place drops by 20 years. :) There are a lot of young families too. The ward is only 2 months old, and has a lot of potential, and great leaders. (This is the area where Elder Strong finished his mission.)
We had church yesterday. Because Sahaurita is growing so fast, and the stake center is very small, they are building a new stake center. But it wont be completed until next October or something. SOOO... our Ward gets to meet at a Junior high school....:) yep, we had Sacrament meeting in the gym, and classes in the class rooms, its pretty weird, but fun.
We dont have very many investigators, only 2. right now, one is named Holly, but her parents are against her getting baptized, but she turns 18 in April, and wants to be baptized then, except they will probably disown her when she does. I'm praying that they open up to it. Our other investigator is 9. We went to her house for her brother's birthday party.
Its a pretty interesting area. we cover this little town about 45 minuets south called Arivaca. it is a pretty interesting place, and the work may get better down there, it hasnt been worked too much.
yesterday we played volleyball with some members, we played for 6 hours! i am very sore now! but it was very fun.
This area reminds me alot of Sunsites, (Where I was last summer) just its a ton bigger! But everything is going good. Some days are hard, but we push through them. and we are trying to work as hard as we can. I really want the Spirit to continue to help us here, and to lead us to people who are ready to teach.
Well thanks for the letters and everything, the time is going by very fast, and I want to make every day the best.
Love Elder Loveless.
