Hola!
Well it was the dreaded transfer week, Sometimes its easy to let to work slide a bit. But this time we didnt. We had John our investigator get interviewed, and cleared so he can be baptized on Feb 18th, this weekend. And we also had Luz planing for that day too. Well it all determined on if they came to church or not. John got called up to go to a job interview on Sunday morning, he called after it, and we had just finished Sacrament meeting... He asked if he should still go.... I told him, " Yeah, you have to come if you want to be baptized this coming Saturday.” So we got a member to go pick him up, and bring him to the church. And he enjoyed church... Unfortunately, Luz didnt show up :( which means she cant be baptized until later on in the month. :(
But, what news does transfer bring to all of this? We got a transfer call on Sunday night at about 10:00.... and..... IM getting Transfered! I didnt see it coming. But i have been moved Down to a place called Saharita,,, where I've served twice before, just in different branches... but im serving in an English ward...my new companion is Elder
Brown, from West Jordan, and he has been out for about 10 months. Elder Tolman is getting a former Zone leader as his companion, so they should do well. So yep, im down in Saharita again. its pretty crazy, we live in the same apartment complex that i was "born" into. So all day yesterday we said goodbye to all the members, and our investigatores. They are all amazing people, and i will miss the Sonora Branch a ton, it was one of my favorites! When we tryed to see one of our investigators, Hedilberto, he wasnt home, so i wrote a note and stuck it in his door. Well while i was writing it, the neighbors asked us what we were doing, and who we were. Then they said they wanted to know more about our church, and invited us in! we taught them a short restoration, and set a return appointment, except i wont be returning to that one. But it was a cool miracle. i said goodbye to Luz. Shes so nice... if im ever back in Tucson i will visit all of these people again.
Well so now im down in sahaurita AGAIN! i was here a year again with elder lawson, Now im and English missionary for the moment. hopefully i go back Spanish before the end of my mission. Its been awesome! Im going to visit Felicitas who we baptised a year ago, sometime, She should be going to the temple soon, she lives in the apartment complex next to ours!
