Hello From Green Valley

Hello everybody!
 
This week was pretty good, we worked alot with the members, and with the less actives.  The work is slow and we dont have alot of people to teach but we are looking for them.  One big push we are making is with the members, at dinner appointments, we are helping them see the need to be examples to their non-member friends.  In church yesterday i was asked to talk about fasting and prayer.  I committed everybody there to pray about missionary opertunities.   The 2nd counsler in the bishopric spoke after me, and committed them all to fast this coming fast sunday for missionary opportunities.   Im excited as we work with them.  2 of our dinners have said they have people in mind that they are working with.  Its good to see the members getting excited and thinking about ways they can share the gospel. 

 
I got to go on an exchange with Elder Robison, he was in Sierra Vista when i was in Bisbee, so we are good friends.  We had a good exchange, i interviewed one of their investigators for baptism (he was baptised on Saturday)   he was a really strong guy, who was looking into the church, but wasnt sure if he should accept a date to be baptised.  well one day he came up to them, and told them he wanted to be baptised.  It was a good baptism. 
 
We keep on looking for people to teach, i just want to head to the Driving range, at the golf couse and talk with some of the old guys, and get them to take us golfing... thats the big thing here.  there are like 8 or 9 golf courses in Green Valley.  
 
Everything is going really good.  last week i was really sore from playing all that vball, but we played some more this morning.  and this week im going to start jump roping in the mornings (Now i have to do it, since i wrote it here :) 

 
I really like this area, and maybe when i get old, i will retire here (Or maybe not...)  But its pretty nice.   yesterday night we made cookies with a member family.  I really like the members here, they are so nice.     Me and elder Brown get along really well.
