Awesome Week!
DEAR FAMILY!
Some of the things we have eaten this week have been Navajo tacos, Carne asada, and tortas.
SO last week i wrote about getting a referal for soembody who came to church....well we went to see them on tuesday.... and they are AWESOME!! Their names are Angelita, and Fernando, they have 4 kids. the oldest 8, and the youngest 2. They were meeting with missionareis in mesa 2 years ago, but lost contact when they moved to mexico, and now they have found us again! They really want to do whats right, and do whatever it takes, they are very readyfor the gospel, and are the most prepared people i have ever taught. They accept everything. And even in their prayers they say "we thank thee that this is thy true chruch."
They are planning to get baptised on may 26th! They want us to come over everyday. And they want to go to church... actually yesterday was the stake confrence, and they all went. Also the night before, we told them about the adult session. And Angelita said that Fernando should go. he even gave us a ride! He enjoyed it, and even said to us that he really likes everything about the church. Its great to have a family to teach! Everytime we go over its fun, and they love us over there. It nice to have that happen, ive been praying for a miracle like this to happen, and now it is. This family will also really help out this branch, it needs familes, and this will be great for it. The family is also excited to share the gospel, so thats awesome.
Other good news is that Holly got baptised on saturday! i got to go too. It was pretty packed, shes been waiting a year and a half for this. Im not sure how her family reacted, but i know she did the right thing.
So its been a great week! This coming up week we have plans to find alot. and teach this family everyday, its awesome!
We did have a full spanish training on friday... all the spanish elders were there from accross the mission, so it was good to seee all of them. i wore my Vaquero Suit (cowboy suit) Elder tolman wore his also. we did it because of the culture. we learned alot about how to more effectively contact people, and to more effectively bless their families. it was a great training.
This was a good week. Im very happy!
Love Elder Loveless.
