Awesome Family!
HOLA!!!
happy birthday mom!
So this week was awesome!! Fernando and Angelita are so great! We actually didnt have any dinners this whole week so, they invited us over every day to have dinner. we had Chicharones on monday (its somekind of pork) Taquitos on tuesday, Sonoran dogs on wendsday, and Carne asada on thursday. Then we had lasagna yesterday.
Its all really good.... Fernando used to work in a moble taco truck, and he used to make 500 sonoran dogs a day, So he is an expert, and they were the best I have had. the carne asada was so good too. Its awesome. ON friday we had a dinner with a member. then saturday we had dinner at the Stake's Cinco de Mayo party! We invited Fernando and his family to it. And they really enjoyed it, you wouldnt be able to tell they were not members, they are so Into everything, and the members love them.
When we told Fernando about the party he said "Would you like me to bring my train?" we were like "Train?" then he took us into his back yard and showed us his train. Its a lawn mower thing with out the blades, conected to 4 carts. and kids get in the carts. We said, "Yeah that would be great" So he brought it, and the kids were riding on it all day. They are a family who will give up anything to have the blessings of the gospel. When we teach them a principle, or comandment, they agree to live it. Then that night they will pray for the help to live it. I love that family SO much!
Some sad news... With transfers Elder Wheaton is getting transfered to Silvercity new mexico. So he was shipped off today. And my new companion will be elder Lund. He is from Salt lake City, i was his district leader 3 transfers ago, hes a fun elder and we will have a great transfer! We will see alot of miracles this transfer. He is coming from Sierra vista right now so i dont have him yet, and im just staying with the other elders.
Elder Johnston exteneded his mission 30 days, And so he would have gone home today, but now he wont for a little while. In missionary lingo, we say he "died," but in his case we say he is on Life-support, hes still in our district.
Well thats aabout it for this week. our days are filled with biking, and teaching that awesome family! I Love this area so much, and i know we can do a lot more work. '
another cool thing is, that ties are sold by the pound at Good Will Industries. There are a million ties there, and you can get a billion for really cheap. sometimes there are some good ones.
Well im excited to call home this week end for mothers day. I cant wait to talk with you all...or some of you.
Love Elder Loveless.
