A Busy Week

Hola familia...

This week has been pretty busy, we've been working really hard, and biking alot. we do about 5-7 miles a day, our area really is TINY....so its good they took the car away, ive figured that we can get from our house to another place in about 15 minutes, nothing over that though. Maybe 20 to the chruch. But its working out really well. Every one of our days we visit a Recent convert named Irene, and read the book of mormon with her, then we go around and look up referals, and knock doors. then make some visits in an apartment complex. and then see an awesome family we just found (see below) then we go to dinner, then after that teach Marisella, David and Christian's mom. and then go home. Its been going really well! and we are really working our hardest. President killpack made a promise to the mission, that if we work diligently, doing everything we can to help people, we WILL have a baptism every month, and specifically for October, So we are working to get those. Marisella should be baptized either this week or next week, Shes having an interview tomorrow night, and if she passes we will get a baptismal service together, Last night we had a really long lesson with her, where we told her she needs to recieve a testimony of the book of mormon and that will answer all her doubts. Ive been praying so hard for her. And i think she is getting it very slowly, but shes getting it.

Also the new family we found live just a few blocks from us. the moms name is Lupita, and she has 4 kids, the oldest daughter is about 15 and is really charismatic, and very smart. They are a catholic family, and very nice, we are hopping to go over today, and teach them more. Im praying that they will read it and recieve testimonys of the truth very soon. They are an awesome family, and very close together.

My Spanish is improving alot, i sometimes doubt that i will be able to understand sometimes, but then they ask me a question and i know what they are saying and i answer them. so thats exciting.

My companion Elder Halvorsen is doing good, we get along really well, and his Spanish is pretty good, so that helps. for PDay yesterday, all the other Elders in our district played basketball, and forgot to call us. and we stayed at home all day, we went to little Ceasars on our bikes, and bought pizza and rode it home. it was pretty fun.

Everything is going good, in 2 days i turn a year old! im working really hard for that day to be the best, and then every day after that to be better. im really excited. Elder Schultz is actually a zone leader in the zone accross the free way, so we migth have a party. Its crazy how fast a year goes by, and i dont want this next year to get away from me and go by to fast. I will work hard, but i want to enjoy everyday! So here we GO! Vamonos!
